The Aquatic Club Records collection contains brochures, newspaper articles, photographs, correspondence and hand-written notes. The bulk of the materials are from the Water Carnivals put on by the club from 1954 to 1958. These materials were donated by Dr. William A. Yorzyk and include notes and statistics on the carnivals (including the results of the races held), newspaper articles published before and after the carnivals, and brochures that are often marked with results of the races....

The Cosmopolitan Club Records collection contains brochures, newspaper articles, photographs, and miscellaneous printed materials dating from its founding in 1921 to the early 1990s. The vast majority of the materials in the collection are photographs taken between 1922 and 1980. The Springfield College Drill Team Club Records collection contains photographs, historical materials, a short news reel, and realia mostly from the early 1950s drill team. The film is a short clip from a 1954 channel 22 (Springfield Massachusetts. The film starts with an interview outside on the campus of Springfield College then shows the women of the SC drill team matching. The sound has been lost. Dr. James Genasci was born in 1928. He attended Springfield College, receiving his Bachelor of Science in 1950 and a Master of Science in 1955. He got a Doctor of Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1960. He was an Associate Professor of Physical Education and eventual Assistant Director of the Division of Graduate Studies at Springfield College from 1963 to 1994.
