This series provides a general overview of Karpovich’s personal life. This series contains general biographical information, immigration correspondence, prior course work, Springfield College application, awards and certificates, Karpovich’s unpublished memoirs, media coverage, material related to his second wife Josephine Rathbone, two artworks by Karpovich, audio reels, family photographs and biographical articles. The small collection of audio reels includes an autobiographical address delivered by Karpovich. Of note is a portrait of Dr. Ivan Pavlov painted by Karpovich in 1935.
