This item is hand written and completely in Spanish. The next item is titled: A Course for Coaches of Basketball from 1942, type-set in Spanish, written by Regina. The syllabus includes three major topics to be covered: 1. Theory and practice, 2. Anatomy, hygiene and first aid for the workout, 3. Study and practice of the laws of the game. The last item is titled: An Advanced Course for Coaches of Basketball from 1944, type-set in Spanish, written by Regina. The syllabus includes four major topics to be covered: 1. Theory, 2. Practice, 3. Hygiene and first aid, 4. Study of the different situations in the game. Each of these syllabi was used in Buenos Aires for courses taught at the YMCA. Both of these syllabi have been translated into English by Teresa Regina, Alberto’s daughter, in 2013, and can be found in this series as well. In the history of the game portion of the second syllabi, Alberto Regina talks about how the game was created, mentioning what he learned from his time at Springfield College.
