Series 4a Scope and Contents
Materials within Series 4, Sub-series a: Miscellaneous Athletic Teams include brochures and programs, schedules, a poster, a ticket, and medals created for Springfield College Athletic Teams. There is a 1916 brochure and 1917 schedule for the Springfield College Baseball Team. In addition, there are a couple brochures for the gymnastics exhibition team, including the 1923 and 1929 Homeshow, and one from a performance at Howard University in 1938. There is an undated exhibition team poster as well. Finally, there are a couple of a copy of small medals from a track meet between Springfield College and Yale in 1922 for the 100 and the 220-yard runs.
