Materials within Series 5: Springfield College Alumni Papers and Memorabilia include photographs, correspondence, pendants, brochures, pamphlets, transcripts, sheet music, yearbook, medals, scrapbooks and loose scrapbook pages from various Springfield College Alumni. Most of the materials date from the early 20th century through 1940.

Many photographic materials include sports scenes and group photos of Springfield College athletic teams and clubs. Many of these take the form postcards. There is also a series of photographic images that are dated and have writing on the back identifying those within the photograph and the date they were taken. These date from 1938 to 1940 and are from various Gymnastics Exhibition team trips with gymnasts doing sightseeing, riding on the bus, and performing gymnastics at various sites.

There are various groups of materials with scrapbook pages that seem to have been created by and/or gathered by Herman A. Lorenz (class of 1914), Caryl S. Tuttle (class of 1913), and George E. Zimmerman (class of 1923). Materials includes photographs, pamphlets and some brochure. In addition, there are three Tarbell Medallions belonging to Floyd Spencer, Norman Stone Loveland, and Leslie James Tompkins.

The full scrapbooks were created or were about Willis D. Piper (Class of 1921), Eugene K. Rowe (Class of 1928), George W. Meyers (Class of 1937), and Warren W. Watters (Class of 1924). They include photographs, correspondence, signatures, pamphlets, printed materials, and other memorabilia created by Springfield College and their students.
