Abstract Leslie Mann was born on November 18, 1893 in Lincoln, Nebraska. While attending Lincoln high school, Mann lettered and made All-state in three sports: basketball, baseball, and football. Mann attended Springfield College from 1911 to 1913 and received a Bachelor of Physical Education in 1925 and a Bachelor of Science in 1941, the delays mainly due to his Major League Baseball career.
