Born in Newton, Mass., Eliott G. Baker graduated from Springfield College with a BS degree in 1974 and M.Ed. degree in 1975. During his years at Springfield College, he was a residence assistant and hall director, a music director for WSCB-FM, a student aide, and an Admissions Intern and Assistant. Abstract
Leslie Mann was born on November 18, 1893 in Lincoln, Nebraska. While attending Lincoln high school, Mann lettered and made All-state in three sports: basketball, baseball, and football. Mann attended Springfield College from 1911 to 1913 and received a Bachelor of Physical Education in 1925 and a Bachelor of Science in 1941, the delays mainly due to his Major League Baseball career.
