This sub-series contains postcards, large format negatives, negatives, black and white prints, and color prints that document Karpovich’s personal life with his first wife Alice, second wife Josephine, family, friends, colleagues and students at Springfield College. Notable in this sub-series are photographs of Ivan Pavlov and others from the 13th International Physiological conference at Harvard University, August 1929. Many of the negatives contained in the sub-series may also be represented in the collection in the form of prints.
