Scrapbook Scope and Contents
This scrapbook is a three-ring binder with materials held in plastic sleeves. The materials were gathered, purchused and arranged by Eliott Baker. The materials held are materials about Dr. James Naismith and the creation of the game of basketball, with most of the materials being postal cachets commemorating the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Game of Basketball, issued on August 28, 1991. The list below was created by Eliott Baker and is held in the front flap of the binder - list may not show all the materials contained:
