This sub-series contains various documents, including drawings, photographs, blueprints, news and magazine articles, and planning lists and notes on various campus planning and building proposals. Of particular interest are the two large sketches of the campus plans created in 1926 by the Olmsted Brothers Landscape Architectural firm along with E.C. & G.C. Gardner Architects. One is framed and both seem to be hand colored. The plan was not followed. There are various proposed blueprints or planning maps. Including a master plan from 1960 created by Shurcliff & Merill Landscape Architects, master plan blueprints from 1963 created by Munson and Mallis, and a copy of page 3 and 4 of the February 12, 1926 Student (other copies exist in Student Bound Volumes) with the “Map of Proposed Ten-year Building Program.” This document shows location of the Baxter, Johnson, Gerrish, and Stewart Land Lots as well as talks about the 10-year expansion plan that was going on at that time. There are many building drawings for proposed buildings, including a bunch by Munson and Mallis as well as sketches of a school gateway, a chapel, and many other buildings. These building and facilities may or may not have been built, and the documents may exist within other collections or even within this collection in reports or meeting materials. Of particular note is a sketch on a proposed Campus Gateway Arch by Studio One, Inc. in 1983. There are also plans drawn up that appear to be plans for an addition to the Memorial Field House that would sit between Linkletter Natatorium and Memorial Field House.
