Series 02: Photographs, 1898-2010, bulk: 1943-1945
Series 02 Scope and Contents
Seires 2 contains photographs ranging from the late 1890s through the end of World War Two into the early 1990s. The large bulk of the collection is sub-series c) World War Two 1943-1945, some of the photographs are from newspapers and the Springfield College Bulletin. These bulletins discuss the establishment and contracts of the Navy hospital and the SATC and when these two groups left the campus. There is a set of 13 posters that show photographs taken by the United States Signal Corps of the events, facilities, and participants of the Inter-Allied Games that were held from June 22 thru July 6, 1919. In addition, there are some rolled panaromic photographs of YMCA groups and a Bayonet School in England. There are some photographs from events on the Springfield College campus that celebrate veterans.

Arrangement
Series 2 is split into 3 sub-series, including: sub-series a) Spanish-American War, 1898-1900, sub-series b) World War One, 1915-1919, and sub-series c) World War Two, 1943-1945. Original order was kept in sub-series a) Spanish-American War, 1898-1900 and sub-series b) World War One, 1915-1919. In sub-series c) World War Two, 1943-1945 the photographs are organized by event and when multiple copies were found only one duplicate was kept.
