Leslie Mann was born on November 18, 1893 in Lincoln, Nebraska. While attending Lincoln high school, Mann lettered and made All-state in three sports: basketball, baseball, and football. The materials in this collection relate primarily to the life of Dr. James Naismith. Naismith was born in Almonte, Ontario, Canada in 1861.
