William Blaikie was born in York, New York on May 24, 1843. He graduated from Harvard in 1866 and then from the Harvard Law School in 1868. This collection focuses on the professional life of Edgar Munroe Robinson (1867-1951). A 1901 graduate of Springfield College, Robinson was active in the establishment and development of the Boy Scouts of America, the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), and the High School YMCA (HI-Y) during the early twentieth century.
