Subseries 02c Scope and Contents
Included in this sub-series are photographs and slides of Springfield College campus during World War Two. Folder 1 contains photographs of fully clothed soldiers swimming in McCurdy pool and Folder 7 contains photographs of men using the obstacle course. Documentation can be found for both of these events in Box 5, Folders 11 and 9 respectively. A range of other activities are represented in this series, the 323rd college training detachment graduation dance, blood drive, exercising, dorm life, the interiors of the navy convalescent hospital, administration building, and mess hall.
